I don't know why not... I have a 300cc/cv Miller and thats estentially what it is, a big power box that I can stick, mig or tig with.

i was thinking the same thing. i figured if my 10 year old lincoln weld pack 155 quit working, i could use my new syncrowave 200 to power the wire feeder. the lincoln has been working flawlessly for over 10 years now and i really don't see it going out any time soon tho.

Tig is a constant current process and mig is contant voltage. Your plan will not work. You can use the Tig box for stick but wire feed will not work.

Your box is not really the same. The 185 lincoln sould be cc only not cc/cv.

I've done exactly as you've suggested and it worked fine with an old Lincoln AC/DC stick welder and a Century 110. Your tip will be hot all the time so be careful. Of course you're used to getting flashed with your Century so no problem. I have no idea though if your tig box could be configured to do the same thing.
