Maybe this is old news but I just talked to Bobby Long and he said he was bringing about 80 pairs to the Hammers. Look for the red jeep lookin thing(toy gear). Just leave a pair for me :flipoff2:.

They should be a hot item for all the guys who snap their regular ones on the trails. Just bring the $115 cash and a good spare!

Bobby is also giving away a set of his birfs at the raffle. Two of the Jambo trail leaders will be running his joints, Terry and Andy.

Since I don't have a spare birf. I was going to call Bobby this week and see if he would bring one for me to buy and carry as my spare. You saved me the call.

I figure if you're going to have to change one on the trail, might as well upgrade while you're doing it:flipoff2:

waste...then soon you'll have one broke birf and one good and no spares once again. if you can only afford one, throw it in the short side (30-45min) and you'll have a spare for when you brake you longside stockfield.....

This is my plan. I know I'll break a stock one, and I'm down to one spare, so I'll find Bobby asap and get those in. I'd rather change two at camp knowing they'll be the last, than one one the trail.

Ok, maybe I'll just get two and have two stock spares. Or, pick up a spare from one of the guys that buys new Longfeilds.

Damn, how many times did you have to circle the parking lot at the Fashion Square to find a spot??:flipoff2:

If you're gonna get a set of Longfields, just change 'em at base camp and give Bobby the ones you're currently running for cores. Clifton's gonna be swapping his at camp probably the first day, it's not a big deal to do two more while you've got the tools out.

Good point - plus I've never actually done one so I can watch and learn. When is he getting there/changing them?

Eric, come run Big Johnson with us , you can do lower no problem!
I think upper is the only part that is all that tough, and it doesn't look much tougher than anaconda.
