Is this a quality introduction winch for newbies? Or should I be looking for something else? Has anyone experienced problems with it?

Thanks.

The Tabor Winch is made by Warn so it is a pretty solid winch. But if you are looking to be using the Winch a lot and offroading a lot then I would go with a higher quality winch such as a Warn or Ramsey but if you want it on the front of your truck and are just occasionally use it or just want to say you have a winch or you are on a very tight budget then the Tabor is a really good winch for you.

one thing that would make me shy away from the Tabor is warn does not list ANY performance or Amperage specs on it. What are they trying to hide??? Must be a really low cost winch...

do yourself and save some money to buy a warn. If your just starting to wheel this winch will work, buy why buy a winch that will need to be upgraded for something better down the road
