Good, the picture isn't coming up in my reply. The last time I objected to a picture reply from SeaBass44 that was used often and in poor taste (pic of a Special Olympics competitor) I got another picture reply (Have a nice cup of...) so, if I get that again, oh well.

So, in this pic the word "your" is used. I don't know if SeaBass44 placed the phrase in the pic, or if he just uses the pic, but it should say "you're" a contraction, as in "you are" rather than the possessive, "your".

I have to keep reminding myself when I see this stuff, that this is the same guy who put on a "retarded" show on the Rubicon a few years ago.

Hmmm, SeaBass, maybe "you're"..... I'll stop there.

If we're gonna have some political correctness police on this board, then I predict a rough ride. There is enough baseless newbie bashing, vulgarity, self-righteousness and generally childish behavior to cover every possible complaint. Maybe that's why I hang around - most of the people on this board aren't much older than my children.

Not disagreeing with you, Bob, (except for the grammatical part ;) )just wondering why start objecting now?

Down boys, down. I was there, I know what happened, it's been five years, drop it. I saw what SeaBass had going on, I winched him when he bent his rear driveline. I saw what Chris had going on, I was directly behind him. Same trip, same kind of non-wheeling behavior. It's been too long to keep bringing it up. I think all of us have turned into better or at least more experienced wheelers.

Back to the original subject,

I've been doing some research on welders, and I've narrowed my choice down to two, the Miller 175 and the Hobart 175. From what I've read the only difference other than price is the Miller has a infinite voltage adjuster. So my question is this worth the extra money?

BTW, a mig can weld aluminum, right? Is there any special parts needed? I really don't need to weld aluminum, but my dad offered to pay for part of the welder if I get one that can weld aluminum.

My buddy moblil1syn told me you were lookin for a Hobart. Well the cheapest place ive found a Hobart 175 is for $555 and that includes free shipping and no sales tax unless you live in NJ. You can find them at cyberweld.com. They also carry the Miller 175 which i think is alot nicer in a few ways, such as it has infinate amp ajustability and a few other more durable parts. Miller says you need a spool gun and an adaptor to weld alluminum with it. The hobart however dosnt mention anything about needing a spool gun to run alliminum wire even though the miller and the hobart both use a h10 (10 foot gun and cable assembly) I would double check with hobart and miller to be sure, and you would also have to run a pure argon or hellium shielding gas to weld on alluminum. By the way I found a miller 175 for $635 from welders-direct.com and I believe that they offer free shipping to. If you have anymore questions let me know.

Well, I don't like the pic, and I don't think I said anything behind your back either. I posted my reply openly, just like you posted yours. I don't think you're speaking behind my back. Did I PM someone else about it? Nope! The pic isn't funny, that's my opinion, live with it - or you'll have to be known as "BabySeaBass". And yes, folks have a learning curve, we all do, and that is my point exactly. Folks who are newer to the board should be able to post questions and then be reminded or encouraged to use the search function without the stupid pics. If you don't like my opinion, that's great, you're entilted to yours just the same. If you get to reply to folks like you want to reply, I get to reply to you like I want to reply.

And what's the stuff about, "nice talk for a preacher?" You don't know preachers who have opinions? Are they supposed to spineless and silent? Well, you've just met one who does have an opinion - and he shared it with ya, didn't he. And speaking of example, didn't you set one too - or are your speech and your actions to be taken as amoral? If you're going to judge me by a particular standard, I think you'd better look at your own actions and speech first. Think about it.

This all has me thinking, you must be one of those guys who can "dish-it-out, but-can't-take-it". Seems like you've gotten your toes stepped on a little bit and you don't like it:)

P.S., Do you really expect me to believe that you think that pic and it's caption are funny only because of incorrect grammar? Come on.

P.S.S., On the subject of example again. If you can think up a way for me to set an example that would cause you to change your speech and actions for the better, please let me know. It is certainly not my intention to set an example for you that would cause you to act any worse.

Actually, it's got nothing to do with you personally. You just happen to be the one who is always doing the pic thing to folks who ask honest questions, and I disagree with it.

And about the religion stuff, I honestly don't believe you think that much about it from reading your posts. And the stuff about "preachers not really being into what they preach," is a nice smoke screen, but I've seen the behavior of transference before. Your attempt to make this a discussion about my response to you instead of your non-technical and wasteful posts is transparent.

If I knew you, I'm sure I'd like you, in fact, I don't dislike you. I'm just voicing my opinion about your posts, which I don't like, and I think I made my point. It's no different than you posting your thoughts about a so-called "newbie" question. I believe that you don't like some of the posts on this board by the way you respond to them. I don't assume that you dislike the poster however. The two don't have to go together, it's just about respect and appropriate manners.

I don't recall using the word hate in my post with regard to you either. But if you get that from what I wrote, that's okay. I deal often with people who have issues that cause them to assume that folks feel a certain way about them. I sure hope that from your replies and posts, people don't assume that you hate them - or, perhaps, based upon your reaction to my reply and the words you use toward other posters - it would be proper to assume that you do hate them. Do you? Is that why you reply with the words and phrases that you use? Will you continue to "hate" people? Will you continue to set the example you set as a moderator? I don't mean to "beat a dead horse" (in reference to your post) but I feel compelled to reply to your posts until I can get an open and honest reply that lets me know you understand where I'm coming from. If that's not possible, then let the smoke screens continue....

Yes, I see lot's of your posts, and if you'll think about it for a moment, I've never said anything about them, have I? Only the pic stuff, which is unnecessary in my opinion, as you already know.

Okay then, see ya on the trail sometime, (and in the mean time - lay off the pics!):D
