Ok guys im kind of puzzled here, My rig wasnt running right this weekend. I have the 16 valve swap in there, and i had a bad ground to the body (which has the ecu, engine, battery, all of these are to one common ground)

I put a new ground wire to the body, and to the motor , and to the battery (a complete loop) and fixed the ground problem.

The problem is that sometimes when i turn the engine over it starts just fine, and other times it just cranks over with out starting.

When this happens the fuel pump does not turn on??

Here are my thoughts on this......
Possibly the ECU going bad, noise filter going bad, ignitor going bad, bad ignition switch........

Now to throw a wrench in all of this.....I towed it home cause it would run, and when i got home, it started right up????????

have you checked the fuel pump relay?....i know mine went bad shortly after i did my swap.....i can't remember what the other relay in the harness is for right off the top of my head....but try switching it with the fuel pump relay.....they are the same thing....that'll atleast give you an idea of whether it's workin or not

I switched this back and forth and it didnt have any effect on it....I can feel the relay turn on and cycle....but im going to pick up a couple new ones anyway...
