i have a 93 f150 and i had nothing but troble with the ttb so i got a 79 solid axle im tring to use the drop radius arm brackets and the coils when i put the arms in the brackets the coils bow out do i have to relocate the coil perches or would it be better to make a long arm setup straight of the frame to the axle and just use the radius arms for the coil perches or should i make the radius arms longer and angle so they line up to the frame and make new brakets.

i am using 93 6'' super lift coils with 79 radius arms and 79 coil perches the drop brackets also came in the superlift kit

you dont need the drop brackets. run 7 degree bushings and either lay the 78/9 mounts back 20 degrees or so, or better yet, make your own brackets

i have a 7 degree bushing already in there what mounts are you meaning. the arms have been cut short now to go into the f150 r/a bracket and im worried that my suspension travel will be inadaquate for the muddy conditions

im not too sure what you are talking about here, but with a ttb coil on a 78-9 lower perch, the coil should sit fine. they may bow a little, but it wont be an issue.
As for the radius arms and their mounts, what arms are cut short and why? i wouldnt bother with the ttb stuff at all. If you drop them, with a 7 degree bushing, your caster will be way off. if you are trying to do this on the cheap, most people will take the 78-9 brackets, and cut them, lay them back approx 20 degrees to reduce bushing pre-stress. there are several threads on here regarding an SAS. most will refer you to FSB, where lots of people have done one with a variety of styles.

Don't try to reuse too much of the TTB stuff. It sounds like that's what you're doing. The TTB coils will be way too stiff and by shortening the radius arms you are severely limiting your suspension's ability to flex. Use the 78-79 stuff.

From the sounds of it you need to do a lot more research on this topic before finishing the swap. Read up on some of the swaps on FSB and here. Good luck.

First, learn how to type a damn sentence...

TTB Coils do not just sit in 79 perches. They will fit, but since they're tapered, it's a bit different than the 79 springs. They may shift around on the perch a bit, but they can be made to work. And yes they will bow out a little.

I'm using 7* bushings on the arms, and they mount up to the frame with brackets I made.

I have plans to swap out the coils and mounts for some 79 hardware, which is a much better option than running original TTB stuff...
