t-case?
Seems like the package sounds good...get all the fiddly bits for sure (but you already know that...). I know nothing about the Ford drivetrain...this might be better asked in Gen4x4?

That is a huge motor. The external dimensions of it are actually physically larger than the classic big block Ford V8, because it is overhead cam. You might have a hard time fitting it and all the ancillaries in between the inner fenders of the Range Rover.

how are your springs going to handle that extra weight?....plus im sure you've already done this but HD drive comps are nice to have with lots of horsepower....
i could be wrong on that engine weight....im just assuming the ford is heavier..
If I'm not mistaken a few guys down in Oz have already done this one. I have a buddy from Oz who has a book that outlines how to do this swap into a LR. Just can't remember if it was a Rangie or not. Anyways he is a member of one of the LR clubs down there (big club) and this manual was produced by their club.

yeah i have been trying to find info on engine weights and more specs etc etc but havnt had much luck... it usually links to a whole lot of braggin about the f trucks....
The tcase will be an atlas2 and i will do the engine gbox and case in one hit (so the engine will prob sit around for awhile, waiting for me to have funds to get the atlas)
LWG - u dont have any more info on the few guys that claim to have done this??? any links etc etc...
I know of a few carb 302 windsor conversions, but never seen any efi 5.4s....
The engine and stuff is only available for the next couple of days, currently at 1200AUS dollars  but has abit of interested partays :( so price is expected to rise.
Cheers for all the reply so far guys/girls
