Does anyone know if you add a divorced transfer case with a married one does that lower your ratio or does it stay the same? Is there anything that you have to do to complete this add on?

yes it will lower your overall crawl ratio. I have helped with the install of this kind of setup. It has to be done on a long wheel base rig, IMO. Its not really as desirable as a mated dual case setup. Linkage is really kinda a pain in the ass. You need a new cross member for the new case, shift linkage, and new drive lines, plus a shaft between the 2 cases.

Is really alot easier to go with a mated dual case setup.

no v8? why drive?

not to mention you have to cut your married case in half for front driveshaft clearance between the divorced case and the front axle. To figure out your final low, multiply your tranny first gear by both transfer case low ranges and your axle ratio.
