where the cheapest place to get a windshield FAST? i rolled twice yesterday and need a new windshield and pillar before the hammerz next weekend...


...exo cage passed the test with flying colors, the windshield was already toast, but now the CHP will eat me...need to get pix developed...

Local windshield shop should be able to get you set up in a couplla days, but it aint gonna be cheap!

Dont get to excited when ya walk in, they will smell your rush and bend ya over!:D

Sorry, can't help with the windshield source, but I feel your pain... my Speedglass is s'posta be here today (not here yet :( ) so I can replace the stock one I smashed when I flipped mine in Moab. Looks like I'll be running on leaking smashed-glass, at this rate. Glad I'm trailering.

As for a new pillar, if you need a pillar to put a new windshield in, you're way out of the "cheap" realm... body shops don't exactly work fast and cheap at the same time. :(

I got mine from Elite Auto Glass. They are a franchise, so they should be in your area. I paid $115 for the replacement windshield on my 86 4Runner. Good Luck

my buddy did that after he rolled his K5..it was freaking hysterical watching him roll down the interstate with no glass whatsoever sporting goggles.

I got one for $25 4sale, if U can remove it without breaking it:) $ U it's FREE, if U can go rent or borrow a windshield knife to cut it out.....

i got a windshield pillar for $10 at picknpull with my trusty hacksaw( and 45 minutes):barf: the exo flexes enough to smack the windshield no matter what. i didnt actually roll just flopped it from like 10-12 feet up an embankment and then a nice easy lay over later in the day... both my girlfriend and i got minor concusions from are heads colliding with the roof, but my booger weldz held up to a good knockin and the rock_me_bumpers exo saved the cab and fenders, etc. the passenger door is destroyed as is the uphostery in the passenger seat(sphcinter pucker), suprisingly the canback was barely tweeked...

time to finish the half doors for the hammerz and get an indestructable windshield from rockstomper(will it not crack if hit on the corner edge??))

SERIOUS QUESTION: is it legal in cali to drive with no windshield if your wearing goggles or motorcylcle helmets?? gotta get to the hammerz.......im stuck $$ here...:D

if youre anywher near rancho, theres a place next door to picknpull, i used to get new ones there for 65 bucks, dont remember the name but its right next door

When I rolled, I had my windshield replaced for $100. It was a mobile service and they came to me...pretty darn convenient!
