: 38.5x15x15 Bogger Milage
CJ5ON38 03-30-2006, 03:47 PM Ok, Anyone Know About What Kind Of Milage I Can Expect On A Set Of 38.5 Boggers On The Street?
How Much Air Pressure Should I Run, There 38.5x15x15 With 15x12" Rims.
Will It Help To Rotate These Tires On A Cj5?
How Long Before I Hate Them - Due To Road Noise?
Does Anyone Like These Tires? Everyone Seems To Complain About Them. All I Hear Is Mud - The Best, Road - The Worst.
Come On Someone Make Me Feel Better About Buying These Tires, Please.
WA-HCRC 03-30-2006, 04:32 PM get some radial swampers if all you want is mall crawlin. boggers will wear fast and are to much for climbing curbs.
hemicj8 03-30-2006, 06:57 PM what motor tranny gear ratio etc. I'd guess 7-9 around town 10-11 if you are lucky doing 50mph on a flat highway. if your looking for super swampers your not looking for mileage
CJ5ON38 04-03-2006, 05:47 AM I Was Just Wondering How Long With Normal Louisiana Driving (on-road & Off Road) Will The Tires Last (1 To 3 Years) And How Long Before I Will Get The Road Shakes?
I Know They Are Not A Street Tire But I Will Be Driving On The Street To Get To The Mud.

normal wear would be around 25-30K miles...about 2 years, road shakes? depending on the balancing - and they will NEVER be truly balanced I would say right after you pull out of the driveway :D
NOT Street legal? Bullshit they are DOT approved :shaking:
jeepcjsc 04-03-2006, 10:18 AM i run that same exact tire on my CJ-7 and they have been on there for a little over a year and i still have a little over 3/4 tread left. my jeep sees plenty of street time but mostly offroad and as far as the noise goes they are loud but it doesn't bother me

He means its not a tire you would buy for daily driving which involves the street.
Such as the Kreppy Krawlers, would you drop that cash to shredd them on the street?

He's talking about how many miles the tires will last, not the gas mileage.:shaking: :flipoff2:

dude the cold medicine is working! :smokin: I could have SWORE that said Not Street Legal  and no...IF I had the coin for a set of $1200+ tires I would definately have an extra set of street tires and keep those as trail only...but then again I trailer my junk :flipoff2:
:emb:
nevermind....carry on
CJ5ON38 04-03-2006, 01:59 PM Jeepcjsc Do You Have A Picture Of Your Cj7 With These Tires On It, I Would Love To See Your Ride.

southernkrawler 04-03-2006, 08:41 PM I have about 12 to 15K on my set and I rotate them reg- evry like 3 to 5 thousand miles and I have only had them for about a year and they are about 1/2 worn, but they are on my DD, 37/13/17 unbalanced and I would rather listen to them than a set of damn MTRs.

Ok, I'm not trying to flame here, but if you're asking that question, you're probably looking at the wrong tire. Boggers ride like crap on the road. They're load, heavy, don't balance well, wear really quickly....
Don't get me wrong, they're great tires for certain types of terrain. In mud, you can't beat 'em. On the highway, not so much.
