I found the axles I going to use on my YJ, a Dana 44 6 lug and a Dana 60 FF 8 lug, Now I think that it would be easyer to convert the Dana 60. Can I get new axles made for a 6 lug pattern or should I just get an adapter? Or should I adapt the front Dana 44? Is there any other options? The Dana 44(Front) has disc brakes which I deffently want to keep. Happy Wheeln':usa: :jeep: :usa: :jeep: :usa:

fisrt of all, SEARCH.
second, it would be easier to put 8 lug outers on the 6 lug front. if im not mistaken, you just pop the ball joints off, then drop on he new knuckle/hub.

I agree - easier to convert the 44 front to 8 lug...

much easier to put the 8 lug outers on the 44. you'll need the spindle/hub/rotor/locking hub ... a set comes up every so often in the forsale section for $200 or so ...
it'll cost you a pretty penny to buy the custom 6 lug pieces from dynatrac or someone to make the rear 60 6-lug.

Grady at Extreme Offroad can turn down your hubs and redrill them to 6 lug.
Call him up and talk to him.

I still agree that it is easier to swap to 8 lug front though. :flipoff2:
