Just for fun, who can call if its totaled or not.

96 disco
Right front fender damaged
LR brush bar smashed
Front bumper smashed
Right front door dinged with paint from other car
Right rear door damaged at back edge over wheel well with lots of paint left over
Right rear quarter panel smashed pretty well
Right rear corner smashed pretty good as well.
Rear bumper partially ripped from frame
Panhard rod bent
Right front tire cut up and destroyed
possible spindle damage and possibly swivel pins etc
engine runs fine
truck drives ok, steering wheel of by more than 90degrees
No fluids leaking

This was my girlfreinds disco that has been hit twice in the last two weeks. This one was pretty bad, and the other vehicle did not survive. All drivers ok, no major injuries.

Will post pics tomorrow.

Any guesses on damge cost. I think it is well totaled

Now you don't need to worry about the paint on the trail! :flipoff2: As long as the frame isn't bent too badly it sounds rebuildable. The bad news - I think that the insurance company will total it. I've bought non-rebuildable tagged salvage Rovers that had less damage than what it sounds like you have. I bet OEM parts from the dealer are going to be worth way more than the truck.

You're looking at about $4500 in just these parts alone.

Right before I went over to the dark side, we rebuilt a '95 with used parts, the core support, hood and fender along with the twiddly palstic bits was about $3700.

It's toast. Now, chop it!

Glad everyone is okay. Since my insurance company told me about a claim where a guy left his sunroof open on a Disco overnight and it rained - and they totaled it...I'll vote yes...write off.

I had a '97 that had been vandalized, a bunch of key scratches and 1 broken window, and all the seats had been knifed (hate crime?). Low mileage ,it was totalled.

I'm gonna bet....totalled

Glad everyone is ok.

Hope everone is okay. Sure hope a Dodge truck towing a toyota truck did not cause the accident. :flipoff2:

I vote totalled with neck injuries and a good attorney.
