So I am looking for a new twinstick shifter boot, I found an ad for Currie for $19.95. So I called 4 wheel parts and they would not match it...So I called Currie from the phone number listed on the ad, The guy I talked to said "uhh no that is not our ad", I said well it has your name and phone number and he said "must be a misprint"...I said well then I will buy it elsewhere.
I don't want to get my panties all bunched up over $10.00. But it pisses me off when companies can't offer any form of customer service..If he would have apologized or even sounded concerned that there was a incorrect price quoted on the web it would have been cool...So should I report the fawkers or let it slide??

The LAW:

Advertising goods or services with intent not to sell them as advertised, or with intent not to supply reasonably expected demand (unless the advertisement discloses a limitation of quantity). (Civ. Code §§ 1770(i), (j).)
Making false or misleading statements of fact concerning reasons for, existence of, or amounts of, price reductions. (Civ. Code § 1770(m).)
