the winch holding whats left of my ball joints in, drove out like that once outta the rocks.... thanks to john in the bronc.....

all is good, sending out the wrong sized axle shaft tomorrow, currie sending me a new one..... (warn) pick up some ball joints, welded and trused one of my upper front mounts.... and getting an outter knuckle sent out to me today............. thanks Matt... again, your the man..... i should have it all pieced together for jellico............. ohh ill post a pic of whats sitting in my bed of the truck....... thanks Jon...........(jeepeater) cash that check anytime... :D i have a funny feeling i wont be breakin as much next year.... yeaahhhhhh GET IT

the closest i've ever got is watching my buddy in his blazer swap ends at 80 goin up I-5 to thunderhill raceway with his race car in tow. scary shiat!!!!:eek:

Just put the finishing touches on the stretched TJ this weekend, it'll be a fun time in about 2 weeks.:D

im workin on it, ill be there..... lots of broken shiat to fix, and replace... im out of spare shafts :eek: warn is givin me a new hub :D currie sending me the proper length shaft, got to pick up some ball joints, allreay trussed my upper control arm that i tore off... Matt (lakerat/ west texas offroad) just sent out a outter knuckle that he had laying around.. thanks again Matt! i just dont think my junk will stay together but im goin anyhow..... just blew 700 on a rr60........ but that wont be in till next season.... :sad:


on a bright note... my brother as we speak is machining a drive flange for my hub..... that might help alot......if we can get it done, splined and treated before the event...... we will see....

I'd be happy about that.

I just finshed mine Suday and got it lined up under my YJ. Total cost was $2500 for the axle and all things involved (new kingpins, 5.13's, detroit, new brakes, new lockouts, new bearings throughout) I'm not complaining though. When I finally lined it up and put it together, I was misty eyed the whole time.

I still need a drag-link, pitman arm, and hysteer arm though.

Makes you hope they get caught since our families are out driving around with these clowns out there.

geeeze :rolleyes: relax guys.......... i didnt do that speed the entire trip..... it was a short section.... the rest of the time i did 70 to 75 :flipoff2:

I to tow at approx 70-75 mph. but no faster since I think A blowout on A trailer tire or something else would be hard to control.
