Well after riding in my truck(dodge w250) for about 5 hrs on a road trip my back was hurting bad.. due to the warn out bench seat..

So I got some bucket seats out of a Ford Van(thanks "thecarman") and "jph0913" and I fabbed up some brackets and redid the inside of the truck.. ( shhh.. John did most of the work due to my back still hurt)

Here are all the pics..
http://www.impaks.com/dodge_project4.asp

we found water on floor boards, rust, holes we had to patch, etc.. it was kinda nasty..

But i was alot quieter on the way to work then in past and the seats feel great on my back :)

I sanded down all interior trim including dash.. then degreased it, and then I painted it all with "Dupont Trim Paint" that I found at Advanced Auto..

man that stuff worked awesome..

I wish my old K10 was that nice. But now i got a new 97 cummins. its almost as loud as that K10 was, but rides just a hair better. I miss that old truck but i sure like the new dodge :smokin:

I sure could use some new seats in my W250 too. The bench squeaks like a high school sluts bed going down the road. :D

Looks like my seats I put in my 'burb. I wasn't lucky enough to get the power ones though, jealous.

Those are some of the most comfortable, springiest seats I've had in a truck and highly recommend 'em.

So Ken, I know it has been less than a month on it but how is the paint on the dash holding up so far? I am just asking because I am thinking of doing something like that on my truck.

All that dang gum work and you still got the same roll of duct tape on the shifter.....

No problems at all..

I have been driving the truck and one day I left the windows down and if you know North Carolina it is Pollen season.. so everything turns greenish/yellow

I wiped down dash and inside panels and they still look brand new.. no problems and the paint did not rub off :)

I would do it again in a heart beat if I had another truck/car that needed it..
