SOR PART NUMBERS (http://www.sor.com/sor/products2.tam?xax=31267&pagenumber%2Eptx=1&category%2Ectx=080%2D40&pagenumber%2Eptx=1&page%23%2Ectx=080)

Sorry, bud, it's the $45 one - kit number 080-40C. You have the large steering arm pattern from the minitruck -> 1/79-1/90 set.

but my shims are good (only thing associated with steering arm)

is the rest of the hub the same throuought the years??? if its really different from drum to disk brake, then never mind--the middle range set is more expensive.

what im sayin is, are the hubs/knuckle and associated parts, besides the steering arm, the same on all the years??

TIA!

I used the kits from TPI (http://www.tpilandcruiser.com/lcknuckle.html) 43KIT-2, All gaskets and seals w/o brgs 7509-1990 $36/each

You'll need two kits, but I like having everything there. I still have a set of knuckle bearings laying around.

There was a recent mention of CCOT getting some Australian kits that come with Japanese bearings. Take at look at CCOT's Kit (http://store.yahoo.com/coolfj40/axelrebuildkit.html) $104 on sale is a heck of a good deal.

I like the guys at CCOT, but some of there "inexpensive parts" drive me nuts. I'd rather spend the $$$ from the dealer and get the OEM stuff. Then again I just love the CCOT Calander. :)

The felt wiper set that goes between the knuckle housing and the knuckle is the same but the gasket and dust seal that go on the spindle are different.

Locking hub gasket between the wheelhub and the locking hub are the same.
