Toby Harrel (#5) came into my shop today all excited because Four Wheeler had just called him and told him he was going to TTC as First Alternate.
If that is so then who dropped out?

i thought that #33 and #39 were alternates. Hopefully it was #25 who backed out. I dont think that he would do real well. But who knows maybe he'll come out and win the thing.

Yeah so bad ass that the reason he came to my shop was to ask for help to get all the thing that he said he has but doesn't

LOL, no i'll have o admit he's got a strong big block. He may very well win the acceleration test
He mainly just needs the smaller stuff. I.E. hydro assist, winch, etc...

I have a hard time believing this. I, along witheveryone else who made it got the list of the ten who made it and the two alternates. Unless three of the original ten dropped out, he is not going.

They wouldn't have alternates stand by just in case one of the competitors wouldn't pass , now would they?

You may have posted the solution already, but did you decide on what to do with shipping the frog. Is it really running you 20G's

I take it the event is closed to the public? :(

i decided not to ship it but to fly it, as i said i would.

shipping schedules made it too tight, timetable wise. i really did'nt want to ship it on April 21, and then find out that because of some delay, i got the frog out of customs 2-3 days too late.

so i'll live(maybe bankrupt) with one way by air and back by sea.

the cost of air freight is about double than the sea freight. this is the deal i got.

i hope the sponsors i'll get here will cover most if not all of the cost.

the cost of flight + shipping back + flight tickets + hotel rooms + parts etc, will eventually be about 20k, so i think.

brother, can you spare a dime?.....:( :( :(

#48 might have dropped out. He was my meal ticket into the show.

Like I said earlier, #5 wasn't even an alternate?

He was still claiming that he is going as first alternate at the club meeting tonight. Don't know if he would try to fool the whole club or not. I gues we'll see.
