alright im finally putting my steering components back together and need my relay rod(pitman arm to double steering arm) re-tapped. and i was wondering if anyone can do it or even be able to make an even stronger rod tapped and everything?

You can have the original rod retapped, but it might be smart if you just have a new rod cut down and tapped for you. Especially if you have the power steering conversion done. The stock rod is somewhat thin and it wouldn't hurt to beef it up a bit.
You could also just get the original one tapped to where you need it, and then you could just sleeve it and call it good. Any number of things that you could do, it all boils down to a matter of cost. HTH

true thats what i should do, (get a stronger one made) but i was wondering if anyone on the board has the capability of building one and for how much. if any one knows where i can get it done, that would be great:)

Do you need the relay rod for the Saginaw conversion that is metric on one end and SAE on the other? If so, PM me. I think I've got a couple out in the shed that I'm not using since switching to high steer w/ rod ends. I live in Menlo Park and work in Mountain View, which might make delivery easier.

I make drag links and tie rods out of 1.120 o.d. DOM tubing with a .250" wall tapped with LH and RH threads in 17mm, 21mm and 11/16" for the Pitman arm. Cost is $60 for the drag link and $70 for the tie rod.

I have a set of Jack's(Medusa) and they rock. They are really huge, and the craftsmanship is great, and he sets you up with jam nuts too.

I'd go that route, finding someone with the correct 17mm x1.5 RH and LH taps is not easy and they will be gouging you nearly the same as one of Medusa's bomber Tie rods...
