Someone knows if there´s adapter for a PTO winch with this tranny.

I have a winch pto on my 1992 F-350 with ZF, but my pto is on the transfer case. I have 5 speeds pulling and 1 speed out. I am sure a pto is available for the ZF and if you e-mail me I will get a brand and part number for it. I am currently taking the pto off, are you interested?

They make a PTO that works off of the transmission too. My buddy has 3 tow trucks from 89-93 that are 2WD, and have PTO's driven off of the tcase. I do not have any part numbers.

rumor has it that ZFs don't like extented PTO usage off the tranny itself. something about it burns up the bearings eventually if you idle a lot with the pto engaged...

probably best bet to run it off the tcase.
