Well got the frame and drivetrain almost done on the flatty. I got the d30 in but now the shock mounts are wrong. Seems like the d30 spring plates locate the shocks on the rear of the axle and the stock d25 had them on the front. Just wanted to hear and see (pics?) what some of you have done about this.

ive heard ford f250 shock towers work good:D

Thanks. I have a set of those I'm thinking of using. They just tilt out alittle farther than I like. Looks like there might be some tire rubbing problems.

what about cutting them right where the angle is and using a BFH to get the right angle and weld a peice of plate or something over the gap u made

That's what I wound up doing. Cut the suckers and redrilled. Worked like a charm.

Ok never mind. I was going to say the wagoneer mounts are a shorter version of the f250 ones. Many have used them on cj soa wrangler spring setups.
