Just got off the phone with a guy with a tj for sale. He says it has black leather seats. Is there a model that offered this option? Rubicon, sahara?

Uhhhh - no, leather has never been a factory option. What trim package is he selling? Your choices would be full vinyl, or cloth where your @ss and back touch with the rest vinyl
Unless the seats are aftermarket, or pick 'n pull seats...

Vinyl was what i was thinking. But Ray charles could tell vinyl from leather. The seller must be a tard and dont want to sell because he never answers his phone....oh well.

actually, my 02 TJ had leather seats. 100% genuine leather, had the paper work and everything on them. they were a "Dealer installed" option. the dealer offers it and will have it done for you or has X amount done at a time.

The TJ he must be selling is probably about 3 years old? I know I have been in a showroom where I have seen them in a TJ. It felt like the "leather" in a Liberty.

Its definitely not a current factory option. I've been looking at more or less loaded unlimited rubicons and the closest you can get to leather in them is the steering wheel.
