Dumb question, but do diesels have galvanized fuel tanks?

Exactly what type of diesel? If you mean pick-ups, no. The new trucks on the market have a plastic/composit tanks. Semi's don't use galvanized tanks either. Mainly just alum. tanks. Light weight, and they don't rust out when water gets in. There might be something out there that does, but I don't know the complete answer myself, just shooting from the hip.

I should have said what I was asking about - a 98 Suburban.
Thanks...

Diesel + Galvanized = Bad
Chemical reaction, the Galvinization breaks down and pretty well wrecks ups the place.

Got two of these:
http://www.galleria-e.com/cgi-bin/Colemans.storefront/en/searchmask
(Sorry, Coleman's site doesn't change URL's when selecting stuff. To see the Blazer tank, put "Blazer" in the search bar and you should see the entry. Basically, it's a pic of new-old-stock Blazer galavanized tank for a mil-Blazer with a diesel engine.)
And they are galvanized. These are new-in-stock tanks, but have some rust and are obviosly more than a couple years old.
