I'd look for a TH400 and a NP205. They are difficult to find mated together, but Offroad Design (http://www.offroaddesign.com/) sells the input gear to convert a 205 to accecpt a TH400, or Advanced Adapters has different tail shafts. A TH350 might hold up, depending on your driving style, but I think the 400 will be better suited behind the 454. Post Pics when you get the rear steer going.

since you never said(I think), you could opt for a nv4500 or even 5600. They seem to be popular and I think will mount to the np205. If you have a little money and would like overdrive to run taller gears You can build a 700r4 to be as strong as a 400. If your running factory fuel injection off of a later truck you can hook up a superstrong 4L80e, or there is someway to jimmy rig it, but I am not sure how. Now Ill let these guys flame my ass for being a stupid newbie, but I dont care cause I got em first :flipoff2: :flipoff2: .

Look forward to seeing some pics when your project is completed. I'm planning on dropping in a 454 in my 89 when I get the funds! :smokin:
