Can't wait to get started on the RRC project. Does anyone have a line on a decent shape LT 230/ Linkage and the Cross member for a Classic? Thanks, Daren

Are you looking for the transmission crossmember? The box shaped one that came on '87's and '88's or the later style round one? I think I still have both lying around. The only problem is that it would be expensive to ship from CT. Contact me at:

I have both from an '87-'88 RRC but shipping to you may be expensive. You don't need the cross member for the LT 230 conversion, if that's what you are planning, just the right trans mount.

LROVER, when you say "The right Trans mount" is there a different one for the BW and LT? That tells you how Rover stupid I am. I was assuming that there was a different LT 230 x-member than was used on the BW. If not, I'm good there. However, the Lt and the linkage would be great if someone wants to part with one. Thanks guy, I will start the build-up next week and take lots of pictures in portals (MOG 404), links, etc. Take care, Daren

Yeh, yeh, yeh. I guess I will search when I get time. Anyway, I still need an LT230, so who is going to give one up for the cause?

Dude, go to the junk yard. There's gotta be plenty in Sac. If you're lucky you'll get the linkage *and* the cross-member (which you don't need BTW), out of the same truck. Look for a late '80's Range Rover, any Disco I or some Disco II's had the CDL (can't remember what years).
