What are all the cool people using?
I know they have come a long way in these from the ones I had screwed to the side of the other trucks.
So what are the bling bling ones, ones that fold, pop, expand, who else knows.

This is the BLING for sure. It is the VersaTie Track from Mac's. The picture is a shot of a kit, but you can get different length tracks, more or less tie downs, whatever number you're looking for. I usually install the tracks on the inside lip of the bed rails. Since they are alum. they are light weight and super pimp. There are four different tie downs you can get and four different tracks, although the one pictured in the most popular. Anyhow, heres the pic.

here at work we are currently designing some stainless steel one's for use on our flatbeds and combo bodies. Cant post details due to it is not patent pending yet but they will be very bling and have an extremely high rating.

Some hints, recessed use springs and have the ability to tighten the load through the mounts, some customers don't use tie downs they use chains so now you can tighten the chain through the stake bed holder.

I will post up when i can even if i have to revive this thread later.

You may also want to look at trucking stores for really nice ones, your stake pockets should be the same size as the smaller flatbeds and there is some cool things out there from trailer supply places.

Umm, I don't think he is looking for something in a flatbed stake pocket, I think he means the stake pockets in a standard pick up bed.

Flatbed stakes and pickup bed stakes can be of the same dimensions, and utilized in the same manner. Only real difference is the structural stability of a pickup bed is nowhere near that of a flatbed, so the ratings for the tiedown would be different. I know that the smaller flatbeds (cowboy style) have the same stake dimensions as a pickup box
