shock measuring

How would someone measure shocks. If I put f250 shock towers on with a 4' lift how would I get my shock lenght.

not too hard really, just jack up the axle on one side as far as it will go, then measure the distance between the shock mounts. for the travel, jack the vehicle in the frame til the axle is fully extended and measure again, that is your travel.

Lift the vehicle and support it by the frame. Take off the tires and let the suspension droop. Measure. Hopefully this will help. :smokin:
