I Mean If Ya'll Are O'so Great Of Master Frabricators Couldn't You Be Able To Figure Out To Make A Bullet Proof Amc20 Last And Bore Out The Old 304. I Mean Isn't There Something To Be Said For Orginal Equipment. So did you really hit the shift key for every word? It must have taken for ever for you to type that. You neglected to state your location, but it would be helpful to do so. Some members have young childeren and I'm sure they would like to know where NOT to send them to school. I'm sorry but poor grammar and spelling is like nails on a chalkboard to me

I don't know if you read the home page, but it says in big letters "Extreme Rock Crawling" and theres nothing extreme about a carbed 304 and an AMC 20 rear. Those items have thier place, and this is not it.

Carry on

Love,

My Jeep appears stock, but mines not a Rambler with a 304, or AMC 20. My diff's are stock, and transfercase.
Not everyone here builds trailer queen rock buggies. I also believe that they have their place, and is a growing sport. Some rigs are completely custom, and use a hood and grill to make it appear as a Jeep.
When you watch drag racing. What part of that car is really a Camaro? I'll bet zero.
This site has plenty of information on building stock Jeep items. You just have to search and find these items, or create a reasonable post to pose the question you have. There are a lot of argumentive people on this board, and your post gives them the ammunition they thrive on.

i can respect a jeep purist just as i can respect a import racer, if you respect me and build clean rigs, thus far you have demonstrated neither.

if all caps is YELLING, then is Caps On Every Word one of those voice modulation speech impediments where you cant controll the level of your voice?

Taking a mostly stock jeep and jambing on bigger tires is what people do around me just for running through the muddy woods trails. Once you go to offroad parks you still see alot of those, but the tubed and upgraded jeeps start to show up. Personally my current jeep is getting a restomod, for the simple fact its a cj2 in really good shape. For trails I will take a cj5 tub and frame and build it up. Tubed, 4link, probably a v6, comp cut, tube fenders, you know build "extreme" for my area so that if I ever got to go anywhere I can do more than basic trails. a simple beater has its place running around the woods for hunting or farm, but it has its limits and that is where these guys come in.

There is nothing a Master fabricator can do to make an AMC axle anywhere near as strong as a 14 bolt,D60 or 9 inch, so the solution is to swap axles. The original engine is good but also limited....if you want performance? a late model fuel injected engine is the easiest "and" most cost effective solution! (or SBC on propane)...are you starting to see a trend here?

This board is all about "Hard Core" If this kind of tech discussion isn't what you are interested in then you are at the wrong place...good day!

That's just a feature of the BB to prevent all caps from showing.

What I dont get is the turd asking for opinions, they saying he's not gonna read them.

Apparently by other sites he meant other threads because by around 5 pm he was responding to another thread asking if he could buy the guys Jeep. And just what is a master fabricator supposed to fabricate to do a stock Jeep. Fabricators are all about changing and making things, not restoring stock. AND ALL CAPS IS ANNOYING!!!!!!! WTF:flipoff2: Oh-that's right -he's not going to be reading this --lol

Thanks, but I think I'll still call my old cut to shit CJ a Jeep. After all, it was built off of a Jeep platform, even if the only stock body panels are the hood, grill and windshield.
