Can we get pictures or write ups on how you mounted your stock brake/clutch pedals, gas pedal?
How about what height did everyone use to mount the chassis above the frame? Would you change the height if you could?
Has anyone used a ext.cab reg bed frame with a two seater chassis? Any problems? Did you cut the rear of the frame off? How much?
This Ftoy forum could be used to pass on alot of info.
Thanks for any help and I'm sure there will be more questions. You don't even have to wait for questions just start talking about what problems you have run into and what you did to solve them.

you can use the extended cab frame just chop it off.

my cage is mounted 2" above the frame. the range seems to be from 0" to 2".

if your read the buildups which I recomend to anyone building one you'll answer alot of your own questions.

Harsh Todd, but funny.

As Pook said, read the "build-up" threads that people have posted of their FT builds.
Lots of good info in those.

My chassis is mounted 2.25 inches above the rails. I'm 5'10" tall and my seats are PRPs mounted on the floor. Gives me approximately 3.5 inches of head room with my bucket on. If you're not going to compete it, then the 3" rule won't effect you and mount it lower if you want.

Using a FJ40 pedal assembly..you'll just have to mock it up to see where you should set yours and what's comfortable and works. I like mine a little tight so it's mounted inside the main dash bar with the cylinders on the other side of the firewall.

Like Pook said...you'll have alot of Qs answered when you start building.

Thanks everyone. I have been reading all the build threads but they all talk about the same stuff, not really getting down to the nitty gritty. We want to do this one time. I know there will be stuff to change but............
Thanks again, You can keep the info coming, I won't mind!

Yea! Nice job there, I saw that awhile back and also read that it was no longer. Gee, I can't emagine why you would want to change that? :flipoff2:
