Whoo-hoo... $175. each at America's tire in Orangevale. Probably take a week or more to get em but they're coming. Funny that 35's were $178. each. I didn't ask:rolleyes: why. Didn't really care. :D Now I gotta get busy with the 9" rear/44 front. Guess I'll be having some Toyota axles for sale soon... :D:D:D

Hey old fart... :D Boner's axles have seen too much abuse. I wouldn't want those. I picked up a 44 several months ago and just got a line on the 9", but haven't got it yet. Maybe this week sometime. Havta cut down the front a little bit and have Gearman work some magic on em. Geeez, hope it still fits in the garage when I'm done.

Zakk, I don't wanna whack the fenders but I may be forced to do a 'little' trimming. :D

When I called discounttiredirect, they quoted me at $4??, I told them that their Salt Lake store had them for $175, the guy(Jason) said, "They must get them at a better price" and he wouldn't match the Salt Lake store. So I called the discount tire in Tallahassee and asked if they would match the Salt Lake store, the guy said no problem, so I ordered them, I'll be picking them up this weekend, hopefully anyway. A two hour drive to save $250, no problem:D:D The local price I got was $228 each.

I emailed them because when I called the idiot said "We don't have access to anything that large." Which I knew was bs, so I just emailed them instead, took a few days and the lady was real appologetic, said some things were going on that caused email delays...

But for $156 you can get a 35x12.5 from tirerack, or for $169 WITH shipping and a kickarse warranty, you can get a 37...looks like the firewall's gonna get the ole sawzall...

Which one??? Besides the one in the rig, I have an 85 pickup front with everything on it, including j-arm and drag link. Not sure about the gears in it but probably stock. The one in my runner has 529's, no locker... :D

What size rims are you guys putting these 37" MTRs on?

I called a couple places and they didn't have the 37x12.5 anywhere close to $169-175. The best I found was $405.

Can anyone post a specific store where they ordered these?

Thanks

Dangerranger,

I called the discounttiredirect.com number and both of the stores in Tallahassee. They all stated that they don't sell any MTR 37" tires at those prices.

I also spoke with Tirerack.com and they said they have not received any 37x12.5x17 MTRs from
Goodyear yet. Therefore, they haven't sold any MTRs at those prices.

So based on my lack of finding anywhere that can sell the 37" tires for under $200, I posted what I
thought was a simple straight forward question. I was hoping someone that had actually purchased a
set of tires would post. If you have ordered a set and can tell me who you spoke to, I would
appreciate it.

Thanks
