How long dose a set of Boggers last.... undoubtly they are the best mud tire and yea they hate pavement but if the are put on a road truck how long do they actually last?
10K
15K
20k
25k
30k
I know they have to fall in this range but where do they fall
experiance would be nice and what vehicle matters a great deal too. would they last 25k on a Ranger/s10 or Jeep and dose size matter on length of tread life? Does 33's last as long as 44's? Just some questions...............

Keep the air pressure right for a good contact patch, rotate them often (every 3k miles tops), if you have a locker try to go easy on them on the road, and they should easily last you 35k miles...

i have 8k on mine on a fullsize with very little wear. ,,keep air pressure right, and rotated

So even with 39" or 44" i should have good 30k out of them... thats around 3-5 years.... its worth it then!!

larger tires last longer because for every mile down the road they make less revolutions and therefore a given section of tread comes into contact with the pavement less, and less of it wears off :D

go for it, i wish i had the $$$ for a set of new 44" boggs :(

i've always agreed with your philosopy about tire contact but everybody i talk to says bigger tires wear out faster..... ?????????????????????????????????????????????:conf used:

My guess would be cause bigger tires are ususally made out of a softer compond rubber right. I know my parents het 60-70k on the econobox car tires bit cant in my truck.

if they are made of a softer compound then rock ranger is right... but i dunno you may just have to call Interco for that one.

Actually, I'm pretty amazed at the #'s some guys are quoting. Boggers are the only tires I've ever seen WEAR OUT on a mud-only vehicle. TSL's will get nashed up from rocks if you go to a bunch of outlaw events. But, Boggers will actually wear down. 'Course 800HP and a good 4-link don't help :D But hey, like anything else, the less you abuse them, the longer they'll last.

I personally put over 15k miles on my 35x16 boggers, and I am the second owner.. abd they are STILL not worn down to half tread yet.

Well I like what I hear.... The mileage arn't that bad but again its how you treat them... I figure if the Yota got 45+ on them i'll at LEAST get 30 and that's enough to make it worth while....

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying BS. I'm just saying I'm amazed. 'Course I was equally amazed to see guys wear them down in mud - which I didn't expect at all.

Well with 30K on a Bogger why go with a less performing tire?

I got about 25K on my last set of 35 boggers on the street....smoky burnouts don't help tho....:D I admit I'm hard on tires .....35's to 44's..... :p :D

bigger tires last longer because they don't chop out as easily because they tire lugs hit the ground at a shallower angle so they don't beat themselves into the road. I am however going to have to call bullshit on boggers lasting over 30k and still being legal, more than 1/8 tread.

i almost forgot, i say a set of 31x12.5 boggers (don't ask it was some dumbass) last less than 1000 miles the lugs litterally started flying off at like 800 miles

Hey, what do you guys think a good air pressure is for my 37" boggers? They are brand new, and I think I have them at 28psi. Does that sound about right?

KAcrawler

i would run about 18-20 in a light weight rig or what you have in a fullsize
