Has anyone had any luck running a shimmed tracker pump. I don't want to blow the seals out of the box I have. A tracker on 34's and a stock p/s setup just don't cut it.
If I am going to screw up what I have I would rather sell it and rig up something else.
Thanks,
Troy

I had great luck with it. Stretched spring 1/4" and added a 1/16" washer under it. Worked great till I tapped the sidekick box and added Ram assist. Then I changed to a TC pump.

I have heard of people doing this with some good results. I'm gonna change pulley's on my Toy pump myself and see what happens.
My steering is good for locked Toy's on 36's but it could be a little better...lol

Thanks for the info.
just one question. "1/16" washer under the spring" did you put it between the spring and the plunger or between the spring and the cap. I really don't think it will make a difference but I am running a a/c pump for oba and it is a real bitch to get to the p/s pump. would like to get it right the first time.
Thanks,
Troy

Do you have a 6" pulley on the pump and a 4" pulley on the crank? I have been wondering if there was a cheap way to put a 4" pulley on my toy pump.
