EFI wiring question..

Ok, anyone know what these wire colors are for that go from the ECM to dash? One is check engine, the other is for the VSS I believe.

color Br/Y (Brown w/Yellow tracer)
color V/Y (Violet w/Yellow tracer)

Purple/Yellow=Check Engine Lamp (To sensor lamp wire at old ECM plug)
Brown/Yellow=?

I believe I had a brown/yellow in the Backup Lamp Switch location where there was supposed to be a red wire.

Lucky for you, I've been doing some wiring on my swap this morning so it is fresh in my head. Need anything else just hollar.

Thanks, I'll put a battery to it and see what happens.

The 1.3/EFI has a VSS in the dash, but the wiring schematic I have does not blow apart the internals of the dash..

WOW, I just checked, is it true that the 1.3/EFI is identical to the 1600/8v injection?

I'm not sure on that one. I wouldn't doubt it though.

Ok, they are not 100% alike, but the connector colors DO match up, and so do some of the wire colors.

Now to figure what the difference is..
