Does anyone know the last year that they produced the 1500 with a solid front?
(Just thinking of another off-roader i'd like to get "some day") :D :D

Oh, and BTW, they work great as daily drivers.. as i use my 96 for that... 70+ miles a day on her...

They work great for daily drivers if you don't mind 14 mpg on the highway.

I used to get 12 too, and then I got my third speeding ticket, now I drive 70 and get 14 mpg.

Damn, my Dodge gets 12 towing my shitbox on the trailer (8000 lbs). At least it can, if I'm not running through the mountains in the 70's. Daily driving I get around 18 winter, 19 summer.

Well, my little stock Dakota on BFG MT's just got 15 mpg on the last trip i took. Ya think i got a lemon? :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
Actually, i've talked to a lot of other Dak. owners, and even when my truck was brand new, stock tires etc, i still got shitty mileage compared to them.
So, 14, or even 12 mpg doesn't realy sound too bad in a full-sized, solid-axled truck. :D :D :D :D

I keep around 75.. so yeah, i know, I have got 15 doing 45 over from los banos to gilroy.. but no better. and that was once.. I dont think that 3.55's and 33" help tho :(

I wish i could get more than 11 on mine....Well i can at 65-70...but over that and i get 10!

I have the 2001 off road...

With 40" boggers and 13" of lift it's no wonder you get 10 MPG. It sounds like a pretty sweet truck I'd like to see a couple of pictures if you have any.
