I need front brake lines that will work with my suzi hardlines and my d44 calipers. I ordered some "hybrid" lines from Allpro, but they were way too short.
After comparing one of the Allpro lines to what I think is a stock sami line (not sure though, I've got a lot of misc. stuff) it seems like the bore in the banjo end is the same size...or at least close enough to work. Anyone know for sure??? If a longer sami line would work, my search would be a LOT easier. Thanks!

The long sammy lines WILL work... The banjo is no more than .002" different, the bolts still have .008 clearance.... It is a bolt on deal... The rears needed a .29 cent adapter to work... Just get a set of petroworks (or anybodys) front lines and your in business. I prefer petroworks cause they have DOT stainless, but whatever.

Gozuki-You are the man! Sine I know you have been there and done that I appreciate the input. How is your rig coming...mine is VERY close :bounce2: :bounce: :bounce2: :bounce: :bounce2: :bounce:
I feel loved...just about everyday one of my buddies drops by for moral support or with some small obscure part they knew I still needed and happened to come across. NCC boys rule!

DOH! Did some research and I'm stuck again....So now where can I get a sami front brake line that is 25-26" long??? I checked a lot of sites and most of the the extended sami front lines are around 20". With these wide a$$ axles, my tape says mine need to be longer.

Scaw, i did this swap last year....I think i used 24-26" lines....My buddy at Extreme gear (916) 990-0419 has them...Use a american extended line and then get the adapter to metric....He has them all, I used this for the rear also!
Talk to scott or ryan and tell them shane sent you!

Scwafish, if you have a line already made that has the fittings at each end, but is just to short, then bolt a toy rear brake line in between the line you have and the frame's hard line.
Suzuki and Toy compression fittings are both 10mm X 1.0 thread/mm pitch. So if you have a male suzuki compression fitting on the hard line, and a female end on your brake line which is too short, a Toy rear brake line (Female 10mm at one end, Male 10mm at the other) will bolt right between the two. A bone stock rear toy line from a parts store should be chaper than a super-extended Zuki line, they'll be ultra-long, and you won't have to get rid of the custom lines you got.
I think Toy rear lines are somewhere around 10-12" long. If I'm wrong, I'm probably guessing too short. A line from any SA or IFS pickup should work. I know any IFS one will, so just ask for an 86-88 toy pickup rear brake line at the parts counter.
I posted a pic in this thread (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=46124) which should give you a better idea what I'm talking about.

Hey Evil,
Quik Question, My longer zuk brake lines are not long enough for my TT kit and YJs. If I reading this right I can use a set rear toy lines and extened 'em by connecting the zuk line with the toy line...right????

Hey scwafish, why don't you just get a 20" barkeline and a limiting strap :p :D
I will finish wiring the trailer, welding the d-rings on, and flipping the axles on saturday. Maybe I'll bring it by on my test drive. Will you be wrenchin'?

Dr. Evil-thats a good idea...too bad I'm too anal to use it. Rocky Road also sells brake line "extenders" (probably the lines your talking about).
Tusker-I'll be out in the shop all weekend.
