Slow at work so I was checking some of these out - anyone members of these?

SAMBA - http://www.sustainableenterprises.com/SAMBA/

FATRAC - http://www.fatrac.org/

NorCAMBA - http://www.norcamba.org/

IMBA - http://www.imba.com/

Anyone up for a ride when it dries out somewhere local to sac?

I've ridden on many a FATRAC trail both before and after the org was formed. They have some good group rides. Are responsible for a lot of our local trails and they join other orgs such as TAMBA and BONC for trail maintenance and rides.

Both FATRAC & IMBA are worth joining as the funds go directly to saving & building trails.

Lets ride. How a bout a local weekly evening ride to take advantage of DST?

I wish I had some trails next to my house, all I have is the bike path but I did ride about 10 miles last night anyway - paved but still a nice ride.

Next month is bike commute month and a bunch of people are gonna try to commute to work as much as possible

I need the exercise so I hope to ride twice a week to make 200 miles for next month.

A trip to salmon falls or something would be fun once it gets a tad dryer..

Why cant I have one of those jobs where I get to surf the pbb all day at work?:(

A pbb group type ride? Salmon Falls? Im there:) Its gonna take a while for me to get into shape though, Ive been off my bike for 6 months:eek: Actually went for a ride yesterday, legs turned into some sort of 'instant jell-o' Now if only I could get off the computer and on the bike.......

Don't worry, I wouldn't call myself in shape ;)

I do hope to try to put some miles on next month though!

PBB group ride sounds good.
Next week is suppose to be clear up to Thursday.
Anyone up to an after work ride with a take off time as early as 3pm (I would have to get to work early for this to happen).
I don't recommend we should do any dirt unless winds dry things out really quick. I do know some decent road routes if we didn't want to ride the Am River Trail.
I have a couple other buds that are not in perfect shape that might be able to join us as well.
