I was wondering if there is any performance difference in where you tap the box.I've seen some pictures that show the just the top plate and side of the box ported and I've seen the side and the front of the box port.these were both on a sidekick box.One more question ,I'm going to be swapping my tracker pump to either a tc pump or a toyota pump in the future and was wondering if you just use adapters for the line or have new ones made.

On the lines, I use adapters to yankee threads and then make my own hoses. Spidertrax has the adapters sometimes. If they don't, you can get them from ORME Brothers.

It's not so much where you tap, but you have to hit the galleys and they are broad area. :)

when I drill into the galleys ,do I drill all the way into them with a 7/16 bit.One of the pictures I saw of the box port on the top plate it looked like it was drilled 7/16 then around 1/4 inch at the bottom?

I am setting ready to update my steering as well.
34 on a tracker, I am going to try shimming the pump first. if thats not enough i was thinking either Saginaw box and pump or hydro assist.
opinions??
you wouldn't happen to have a pic of the other tap location they used??
