I recently made the comment on POR that noone here where I live was interested in building a trail rig. This is the suspension on the local experts 68 wagoneer. These aren't the best pics but if you look close you can see the chicken shit welds on the spring mounts and the steering mounts. The springs are double stacked and the pinion is pointed towards the ground.

Here is the cobbled mess on the back spring hangers to level out the back with the front. And people wonder why I spend so much time reading the forums on this site.
make sure he stays the hell away from YOU or anyone else:barf:

Well thats cause you are from CONRAD, MT. :flipoff2:
You wouldn't by chance know a Courtnie McGowen or a Gary Walter would you? Went to College with them and I also knew some other people from Conrad but for the life of me I cant remember their names.
Just keep reading the forums and do your own thing. Get yourself a welder and get it awn. I know there are some hardcore guys down in Great Falls but don't got any of there numbers..

That's because you live in Conrad :p. There were a few nice rigs in Bozeman when I lived there a little while back.

Alright, no making fun of my rig when you come by tonight, y'here? :D
You just need to get in touch with the Cascade County Fourwheelers and join them for some runs.
I had to look Conrad up on the map this week.. :D You're not too far from GF..
BTW, there's a mud-race at the Plainsman Bar near Havre this weekend.. I won't be attending (goin' wheelin' Saturday, and still putting the racer back together)

I've been doing my own thing here a little at a time. I've got a good shop and fair access to parts. I plan on contacting the Cascade county fourwheelers sometime soon. I don't know Courtnie McGowen or Gary walter.
Tom everything looked pretty good from what I got to see except that one wall it needs something?..........................Oh Ya sheetrock.:D :D I've been to the mud run at the Plainsman. last year the some of the crew go drunk and got to playing with the escavator in the pit. It was ten feet deep in the center and had so much water it was more like thick soup than mud. Nobody even made it to the center of that mess. I'm waiting to hear from the driver that I've worked with on the mud truck to see if he is going to race this year. He found a 1968 Chevy 3/4ton in excellent shape he said if he could get it there would be no racing this year cause he was using his race budget to get the pickup

I lived there from '98-'00. I drove a stock, tan extra-cab Toy and a lime green Honda Express scooter. Lived right by Pete's Hill.
