If I was going to go full-width on my tj without going all out and getting rockwells, what would be a good 60 swap?

I'm working on a 78 F-250 D60 and GM 14 bolt for mine now. Wouldn't have bothered me if the front would've been low pinion and the rear a high pinion tho - instead of the other way around. :flipoff2:

It is a lot cheaper to find a HP d44 than it is a d60, that is what I am running is a 67" WMS to WMS dana 60 from a 76 ford f250 and a HP d44 out of a f150 also 67" wide and just put chevy roters on it to make it 8 lug to match the rear. Well there was a little more than that but it works.

dude full width is the way to go...
what i did was pick up a d60 ford whatever year ya want mine is a king-pin style a little older but alot stronger.69 inches for the front kept all the 1 ton stuf ie.brakes ..and bought a tera 60 housing and slapped on 14 bolt spindles to use 35 spline full floaters and disc brakes in faact i can hook you up with the disc brake conversion for a great price. but this is the best way to do it so you havve high pinions front and rear....in 1 ton axles
