Nomar 04-15-2006, 08:20 AM Check with Rovertracks (http://www.rovertracks.com/)
PTSchram 04-15-2006, 12:53 PM Keith ships stuff to the Mid-East, I don't see why he wouldn't ship to Spain. IIRC, didn't Tobias get some stuff from Keith as well?

I believe Michele email spiff@libero.it can supply these in Europe (from Italy). Or else Keith or Michele will post to this thread.

Josef 04-17-2006, 04:04 PM Hi
I do not think that Ashcroft products are realy ment for such big (for Europeans) tyres.
Probably the Longfield would be your best choice, however I have never seen any of their products in action.
I have maxi drive locker/half shafts on my rear axle and Jack Macnamara on the ffront axle on my Defender 110. I have Simex 34/10.5X16 and so far am very happy with the performance of the above.
Outback import in France are selling maxi drive products.

Or more and the buggy that I saw them on 2 weeks ago was broke the whole time so I never got to see them perform. By the way the site in your sig sucks for machining info:flipoff2: :flipoff2:

What you talking about!? :flipoff2: Take some time and go through there if you need to know something. It has the Rockwell C of every type of material, cutting perameters, ect. That site can tell you how to mill 6AL4V at 12 cubic Inches/min of removal rate. Now how many sites can do that?
Seriously though, if you need to know something, you can PM me. I can help you mill just about anything.
nunoeumiranda 04-18-2006, 02:33 AM hi once again.
Thanks for the tips :)
I dont wanna Maxidrive ( to expensive in Europe ) ...Ascrofth...hummm I really don't now...
I want sommething realy cool ... I check some old post's and I think the best thing is realy the longfield e rovertrax conversions.. os the famous Toy conversion..
Here in Portugal we are a litle limited to the UK products or in some cases France, italy...
I friend told me that i can find the longfield at italy and we are now emailing to know the costs..
My discovery have a Zf autobox; KAM 4,75 R&P; Rear detroit Locker and HD Half; ARB in the front without any modd yet... and running the MAxxis its a real Fu"#$ thing :)
Thanks to everyone and once again sorry about the english

Hi Nuno,
PM or email me
:)
P.S.
Nice rugged Disco you have there...
Serious One 04-18-2006, 09:52 AM Can u explan what have u done?:D
No, I can't...because it's not my truck. I can try to find out what is going on in that front end and report back here.
I am fairly sure that they are Ford 9-inch center sections, but from there outwards I have no clue what's going on.
Lemme see what I can dig up about it.
isabellaclarke 04-18-2006, 10:33 AM They look like sunray's 9s???????
Serious One 04-18-2006, 10:57 AM They could be...I dunno.
aloharover 04-18-2006, 11:19 AM Is it the angle or are those some freeking huge U-joints? I mean the yoke looks almost as big as the center section?
Pete
AKRover 04-18-2006, 11:51 AM Looks to me like a 9 inch housing with custom 60 knuckles and sunray axle shafts.
UPOVR 04-18-2006, 08:18 PM those inner C's look interesting...wonder how much they are. they look beefy and look like they may be easier(cheaper) to manufacture then the dedenbears (sp?).
I wonder what kind of hub they use? standard D60 or are those one-offs as well...the bottom of the hub looks like some sort of custom kingpin. where did you get the pic?
just saw the sunray website. I guess it is one of their 1550 set-ups.. anybody price just the inner C's and outer hubs?
revor 04-18-2006, 09:18 PM Generally I pay about $600 per side for both C's Crane or Dedenbear..
Spidertrax has some nifty new stuff coming on too!
Serious One 04-19-2006, 08:07 AM where did you get the pic?
Ummmmm....I took it.
Looks like you guys are figuring it out quicker than I am. Good on 'ya. :flipoff2:

Jtisdale 04-19-2006, 11:01 AM Carey goes by TuffD90 on this board but I don't think she is active any more. Her 9/60 axles were built by Sunray a few years ago but weren't originally the 1550 series stuff(I don't think anyway). When I spoke to Lance six months or so ago about some of the work he was doing on my axle, I asked him about some of the things they had done to her truck and he didn't mention any recent work.
