Anyone got a clue on a tip to get this thing jacked back into place? I got the old one out, but i can't seem to make the new one go in... The top mounting bracket is hitting the tie-rod.. Any easy way to do this without removing the tie-rod assembly?

It will go in. You usually have to twist and roll up into position. They can be a pain sometimes.
