miss fire on 1.3 carbed engine

the engine in my sammi has a miss fire, and cant figure out whats causeing it. it has new cap,rotor,plugs,wires,coil but still does it when it was in my parts truck it ran fine but when i put it in my good truck is started miss firing and cant figure out cause, any suggestions?

good luck! I put a new carb, rebuilt head, cap, roto,plugs, coil, wires, checked all the grounds and put new intake gaskets on.
even did a compression check and it was all even.
I never got it to go away so I sold it becuase I could not get it to smog.

clean & check all your ground connections.

check your fireing order..should be 1342 and after that check to make sure your timing is right ...maybe when you swaped the motor you missed up your timing .... if you pulled the distributer when you swaped the engine you may have put it back in 1 or 2 teeth off and that would cause it also....check that stuf and let me know

Bad valve? Ive had 3 different motors with a bad exhaust valve on no.4 cyl from what Ive seen its pretty common in these motors .

replace all vacuum lines and change your fuel filter
