I know this has probly been covered before but what bracket do i need to run a York compressor on a 1979 350 3/4 ton on (I already have a stock A/C bracket but i want the York) also where can i get the bracket and possibly a York

yorks can be found in a JY. they came in scouts and volvo's commonly. unfortunatly, there is no factory bracket to mount them. you must fab one up. when you get the compressor, you want the one that has 10 in the last two digits of the number on the tag. its the largest of the three displacments.

You might look at some chevy vans at the junk yard. Some of them with the 350 had A/C added later and used a york. They have a nice mounting plate on them that can be used.
Look in old benzes, volvos, ford trucks.... or in the sale section here (there is one for $50 now) or go to www.onboardair.com
