rear driveshaft compressed length?

Sorry I know I have two threads sort of going about the same thing, but I need this info ASAP. Also if anyone has any info as to how the rear driveshaft compares to the front (spline travel, cv angles, diameter of the flanges...) that would be really helpful. I need it for a custom application, so that's why I need these dimensions.

the compressed length is 27.25 inches. check out the "official PBB suzuki FAQ" at the top of the forum. the first post has a section with tons of driveshaft info. -marty

Yes, I have seen that, but at the beginning of the driveshaft info it says ...
"Key Search Words: Stock 1991 Suzuki zuke zook zooki Samurai sammy front driveshaft drive shaft measurement length including slip yoke ....All of these are only to be considered "Ball Park" - UZi9mm"

So aren't those dimensions all for a front driveshaft? And aren't the rear driveshafts shorter?

The rear driveshaft is aproximately 20.25 fully compressed, 22.75" fully extended. Give or take a 1/4" or so for the different ways people consider the word "fully":D

No problem. We bought a rear, it seems like it will be perfect. Hopefully we will just need to clearance the ujoints to run more angle.
