Can someone tell me why y'all in FToys, are NOT running a heavy flywheel? I dont' get it. I saw a whole bunch of stalling, right at the WRONG moment, at Globe. Seems like this would be a great mod.

Seems to me that the gain isn't worth the expence. It doesn't cost you any points if the motor dies.

They ARE pretty spendy! $49.99 at Checker vs $273!
Have you ever driven a rig with one in it, John?
You are one of the smoothest drivers out there. Did you even have any stalls at GLobe? (we won't include the rollover as a stall :p ) I can see why you don't see the need :p

Spend the coin on rear case gears instead...then, you don't need the flywheel advantage and still get your slooooowwwwwwww on...

With dual cases, I think the stock fly wheel works well, I used Toy dual case behind a Zuk 1.3L and never had any problems to speak of...
i didnt ever stall, even with my carb, if i did stall, it wasnt at a bad point, just usually when i killed it on accident. my idle was set a little low too.

What's a flywheel?:D Stock seems to work fine for me. Never stall unless I'm not paying attention.
