So, after installing an ORD lift and 35's on my 1990 Sub, I took it 'around the block' to make sure everything was working right. I heard a little grumbling and knocking wich really pissed me off because I am super anal about making sure every nut and bolt is torqued to proper spec... anyway, I crawled under the sub to find that the two bolts which thread into the 241 transfer case which attach to the mount, were absolutley missing and by grabbing the output I can rock the entire engine, trans., transfer case side to side. Argggg, some idiot who worked on it for the previous owner must have removed them and never put them back.

Anyway, does anyone know what size those two bolts are? They look like 3/8 or 7/16. How about thread, fine thread or course?

Thanks, Nick

Mine are 3/8-16 by about 1 or 1-1/4'' long,

I used a p-drop NP241 when I swapped and didn't mount the case other than to the tranny adaptor, just as the 88-98 241/243 are mounted and I am unable to move the drivetrain side to side by grabbing the output. Is your tranny mount shot?
