i picked up a 85 k30 cucv 1 1/4 ton pu a while back, and took apart the truck, i came upon these weird parts just wonderin if any of you guys had any ideas on what they might be...

and any of you guys would like a blower motor and ducting let me know i have the whole setup ( and a hood latch) :shaking: i also picked up a 1990 1/2 ton, if you want any part of that besides the bed and motor let me know i will see what i can do... thanks again

That's what you would call a cannon plug. Probably not useful for anything you would be doing.

That truck has or had a 24 volt starter Your now asking why thats because all of the other military trucks have 24 volt systems and they wanted this m1008 truck (assuming this is what you have) to be combatable with the other military trucks so that part that looks like 2 cylinders is a large resistor to take the 24 volts and drop it down to 12 for the rest of the truck
the other thing you found just behind the grill is a slave cable very handy to jump start another truck with ( if i found you with a dead battery on the trail it would be very easy to get you up and running again as my trucks (4) of them also have this feature personally I would leave it on unless you have a better system. The other part with 5 5/16 studs on the top and 3 on the bottom is a battery cable junction connection.
the part that you found just below the ash tray is a diagnostic plug in for those that have the military diagnostic tool that plugs into it and its used on the hummer and alot of others
