Is this even remotely possible?

Want to put a 1356 in my '78 Bronco, for the low range.. Would be nice to be able to twin-stick it.

Still wondering if anyone had ever heard of doing this, or has done it..

Twin sticking involves a T-case with two control shafts to be operated independantly. If the 1356 only has one control shaft(rotating vs push/pull like the Np-205) then twin stick is imposible.
Have you looked at the means of control the 1356 uses?

There's the answer I'm looking for.

There is only one shift lever. So I guess it's impossible.

Now, fixed feelings about putting in the 1356 over keeping the 205.. the low range would sure be nice.. but I'd like to twin stick it also...
