Hey Rick Today I came across a D80 from a superduty. What a pig, 5.13, 70 inches wide with disc brakes. 37 spline axleshafts. Must weight more than a front 60. Is that what you have under your Scout?
Also got a line on a Chevy 205 supposed to be round 6 bolt. Guy says it has a slipyoke on rear, did yours?

Yup, that's the rear I have. I don't know if you could get a Detroit for the 37 spline axles. Mine's a 35 spline. Definately heavier than a 60 front.
Sounds like it could be the right T case. Yes it would have a 32 spline slip yoke on the rear (that rear output fits nicely in the dumpster later). Should have a 32 spline female input shaft. There's two different ones. One's short and the other long. Both are good but the short is better for length purposes.
I hear there's another one simmilar also. It's all the same but the 6 bolt round pattern is on the adapter and not the case. I'm not too familliar with that one so I don't know how desireable it is.
Sounds like your gettin ready to put something beefy together?

Thats too much beef for me, found the axle at a boneyard and was frightened by its size. The Tcase is for sale way cheap, might pick it up for future foolish projects

Pick up the case and sell it for profit. I think Fleckster on this board is looking for one.
Shiping from Chicago to Seattle would be a killer. Maybe just sell the case with the 32 spline gears and bearing retainers to save shiping weight?:)
Weren't you making a adapter for the 205-241 combo? How's that working out?

Everything is done(with fingers crossed) This weekend I hope to do a preliminary bolt up of the whole doubler into one unit. I will Email you a pic of the 203 to 241 adapter, haven't figured how to post pics here yet.
