I picked up a pair of 8" nationals for my SAS on my burban. Awesome flex and ride. I think with bushings and u-bolts they came out around $800.

you probably shouldnt have told us it was a 1/2 ton. that means you are running tires big enough to need 20" of lift on a 1/2 axle. is this right? let the flaming begin:flipoff2:

edit: that is untill i look at your sig. looks like you have that covered.

I bought a set from Alcan for my 72'. Best ride and customer service ever. Deaver gave me the run around and they're right up the street from me. I paid about 1,200 for a 6" lift.

people break 1 ton stuff with 49's. i would go mogs or rocks, that is if you wheel it what so ever.

ive already got a 2 1/2 rear and ive also got a 60 rear and 2 14 bolts but cant decide which way to go and dont get the wrong impression it gets used its not a street truck. yeah its tall but it stays in the mud or in the river.

30" of suspension lift?????????????????? ?????????????????? ?????????????????????
???????????????????? ?????????????????? ??????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????
?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????

to justify that much lift you would need 60+" tires....dood lower your freakin truck. maximum lift for
49's would be like 12" springs and a 3" body. why go w/ leaf springs???? go w/ air bags, coils, coilovers,
air overs, leaf springs are the worst choice.

pirate is WAY DIFFERENT than the old days.........ya'll are getting SOFT for not flamin this NEWBIE

i just don't get it.....what happened to "HARDCORE ROCKCRAWLING"????????

i was in need of some 52 rear stock springs because i am in the middle of doing a sas on my 98 and have come
to find out that the springs i got from a local junk yard i believe are slightly bent. I was just wanting stock or
2in lifted 52in rear leaf springs from a k5 or truck. has anyone ever bought or heard of this company..

Not wanting to spend a lot on these new springs just need to get them in.......

definitely, do not run the 60 rear. it most likely has 30 spline 1.something axles in it. the 14FF is a better bet with a much bigger ringear and axles. but still the rockwell is your best bet. you can proably spend less and get a rock front than a D60 front (retail). heres a hint, people upgrade from 1 ton to 2.5 ton to run bigger tires. they dont go the other way. and here is probably the deciding factor you havent thought about. a 14FF can only go down to 5.13 gears (5.38 if you can find them). a rockwell comes with 6.72 IIRC. if you want to keep your tranny and everything else alive, run the rockwell.

this is a different truck than my 94 but when i said 30" of lift i counted my tires its about 20 sus and a 3" body. but this one will also have a set of 50" mich. Yeah my truck is tall but it is a mud rig im really not into crawling around on some rocks going real sloooow. plus i still have 73 3/4 ton to build.
