Hello all... I have a 1994 GMC Jimmy... Its all stock except for the rebuilt 4.3... It has the IFS and 10 bolt Solid Axle Rear... A quick question is can I fit 31s on it without a lift and still have full turning lock without rubbing? My second question is about lifts... I dont know much about IFS but do companys like FabTech, Pro Comp, or Rough Country make lifts for this and are they more expensive compared to Solid Axle Lifts, also will I be able to fit 35s or 38s with an IFS Lift, or will I save alot of heartache going with a Solid Axle Swap...Thanks for the help!

Save your money and SAS it, unless you're not going to wheel it hard.

I was leaning towards the SAS... Would I be able to fit a 14 bolt Corp. GM rear under it with a Dana 60 front? What year vehicles would the front and rear differentials fit my Jimmy? Thanks for the help!

I think I posted a reply to your question in another off-roading website earlier today.

In answer to your question about what 60/14 bolt will fit. Define fit? No 60/14 axles are the same wideth as your stock axles.

Search this site or http://www.s10extremist.org/ for rigs running 60/14bolt axles. This swap will cost about as much as your truck is worth...

Thanks for the help, I got your other reply... I got this truck for only $600 and the body is solid... I would do this swap because I only have about $900 in it total
